Scheduling Payment window
Purpose
Use this window to post a payment for outstanding scheduling invoices.
Note: You do not need an invoice to post payments for classes.
To access this window
Complete one of the following to access this window.
- On the Modules menu, point to Scheduling and click Make Schedule Payment. On the window that displays, select a customer. (If the Select Student window displays, select a student and click Select. If the Select Class window displays, select a class and click Select.)
- Use the keyboard shortcut Alt, M, H, P.

Item descriptions
Item | Description |

Name |
Displays the customer name associated with the student account. Click to view the account name, address, and other demographic information including phone numbers and email. Right-click in this box to copy the address or phone information to the clipboard. |
(account number and class) | Displays the student name and account number for the selected customer and the class for which you are scheduling a payment. |
Store Loc |
Select a location to apply to this invoice, if different from the default. |
Tax Auth |
Select a tax authority to apply to this payment, if different from the default. This box supports F6 functionality; the Pick Tax Authority window opens. |
Date |
Displays the current date. This value may be changed if necessary. To quickly enter today's date, press T on your keyboard. To quickly back-date or forward-date by one day, use the Hyphen key (-) and Equal key (=) on your keyboard (alternatively, use the Minus Sign and Plus Sign keys on your keyboard number pad). To quickly back-date or forward-date by one month, use the Page Up and Page Down keys on your keyboard. This box supports F6 functionality; the Choose Date window opens. |
P. Date |
Enter the date you want to record the payment in the ledger (the posting date) if different from today's date (the default value). To quickly enter today's date, press T on your keyboard. To quickly back-date or forward-date by one day, use the Hyphen key (-) and Equal key (=) on your keyboard (alternatively, use the Minus Sign and Plus Sign keys on your keyboard number pad). Ref# |
Displays the automatically generated invoice (reference) number (according to the system variable NextInvoice). This number may be changed, but must not duplicate any other invoice number. Note: Tri-Tech does not recommend changing this number. |
Next Due |
Displays the next date a payment is due. For example, if the payment schedule for a class is per class, and the student has paid for 5 classes in advance, this date will be the date the payment for the 6th class is due. |
Payments Due |
Displays the number of outstanding class payments. For example, if the payment schedule for a class is per class, and the student hasn't paid for the last 3 classes, a 3 displays here. |
Amount Due |
Displays the total amount due for outstanding class payments. For example, if the student is behind by 3 payments and owes $20 for each class, 60.00 displays here. |

Displays the reference, or invoice, number of any outstanding lesson payments. |
Description |
Displays the name of the class. |
Amount |
Displays the amount due on the outstanding invoice. |
Date |
Displays the date of the outstanding invoice. |
Current Due grid columns |

Description |
Displays the name of any lesson with a current payment due. |
Amount |
Displays the amount due for any current invoices. |
Amount To Pay | Enter the amount being applied to the current and any outstanding balance. |
Item | Description |
---|---|
Save | Saves the payment amount and displays the Enter Payments window where you can complete and post the payment. |
Cancel | Closes the window. |
